The women ruggers final record was 8-2-1, including a 12-0 win against Austin the previous weekend. The women utilized a strong de fense with hard hitting and quick pursuit in many of their victories this season. Their inexperience was re placed with hustle and enthusiasm. The season was highly successful for the women in tournament play taking third place in the Mardi Gras Tournament, and second place in the Austin Tournament.
