Please bring the correct change. One and one half hours have been scheduled for each match. In anyset when a 6-6 tie occurs a nine pointtie breaker will be played. A match wit consist of 2 out of 3 sets. Each par ticipant will furnish two new Wilson or Spalding tennis halls for each! event in which he is entered. Thf winner will keep the unused balls after each match. low qu tuer G qualifie Course, Bake souri C shots c qualifie 72-man state til J- Ag keglers place first at Houston By NICK VOINIS Staff Sports Writer The Texas A&M Bowling team placed first at the recent Texas In tercollegiate Bowling Conference (TIBC) Tournament at the Univer sity of Houston’s Cougar Lanes. The Aggies, who held a three game lead going into the tourna ment, lost their first three games to second place Houston. The Cougars averaged 202 per man, totaling 3043. The two teams won their next three games, bringing the season down to the final three games. Lod by John Chappins' 248, the Aggi# won the opener, while the Cougars took tHe second. Down by 60 pins (6 marks) in the sixth frame, A&M came back to take the lead by 20 pins (2 marks) going into the tenth frame. The final player, Larry Galvin, doubled in the tenth giving the Ag gies the win. Ray Mott (210) and Joe Tomilson (200) were high men for the Aggies in that final game. The Aggies averaged over 184 per man, totaling 8319 pins for the day. Individuals and their scores include Larry Galvin (197), Ray Mott (195), Don Ledford (192), John Chappins (186), Ray Scott (183), Joe Tomlin son (172), Mitch Smith (168) and Jin' Adams (151). The win is the second consecutive TIBC championshipfo r A&M. The Aggies previously finished third for the 1972-1973 sea son. The Aggies also sent a team to Corpus Christi, April 19-20 for the first annual Texas Intercollegiate Bowling Tournament, which won the team trophy which stands 4 feet 6 inches. The team included Doug Ocker, Larry Galvin, Bill Ketter, Mitch Smith and Joe Tominson. G S-
