well.

Real estate planning conference
A&M will host a two-day conference on real estate planning for farmers
and ranchers, beginning Monday (May 12).
Participants will hear 15 speakers delve into such subjects as techni
ques, organization of the estate, valuation problems and liquidation aspects
of the farm or ranch during estate planning.
The meeting is co-sponsored by the University of Texas School of Law
and the Department of Accounting and Executive Development Program of
the College of Business Administration.
Older than average students group
A new organization for students at least 25 years old is being organized.
The group, Students Older Than Average (SOTA), will be an informal
organization offering fellowship to students such as housewives planning to
enter professional careers, those seeking a second career alternative and
those taking courses for personal stimulation and growth.
Toby Rives, associate director of student affairs who is assisting the
group, said a meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the YMCA
conference room to plan activities.
Cepheids to present ‘Barbarella’
“Barbarella” will be the final Cepheid Variables movie this spring.
The science fiction lampoon will show Thursday, at 8 and 10 p. m. in the
Rudder Theater.
‘“Barbarella” stars Jane Eonda, John Phillip Law, David Hemmings and
Marcel Marceau in a supposition of the future 38,000 years hence. Fonda
plays an astronaut who crashes her fur-lined spaceship while trying to locate
a missing scientist.
Admission will be $1 per person.
