Cycle crash kills two Bryan teens Two Bryan teen-agers died Thursday night when the motorcycle they were riding struck a utility pole on the 600 block of South Sims Street. Police said the vehicle, operated by Bernard Canter Francois, 18, of 218 Lynn, was speeding. Francois and a passenger, Cheryl Ann Corn, 14, of 2400 Cindy Lane, were de clared dead on arrival at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Both sus tained broken necks, and head and chest injuries. A booth in the Memorial Student Center is open 2-5 p.m. March 4 and 6 while another booth at the Boys Club in Bryan operates from 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Canoe trip planned The Outdoor Recreation Committee is sponsoring a canoe trip down the San Marcos March 8 and 9. Marialice Cameron is trip leader and can be contacted at 84S-6662. The organizational meeting for the trip will be March 6 at 7:30 p.m. in room 231 of the MSC. Open house slated The Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences Department will hold an open house in its new facilities Wednesday. The open house hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Nagle Hall. Open house activities include tours of the new Aquaculture Research Center on FM 60. Tour times are 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. An address by Dr. E. L. Kozicky will begin at 8 p.m. in Zachry. Hummer to speak Dr. Robert L. Hummer will speak at 7:30 p.m. at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Thursday. The topic of the presentation will be the community pet population. Hummer is a veterinary consultant for the Denver American Humane Society.
