The board voted to put the coun cil in charge of scheduling for the new MSC gallery and display case. The gallery is located in the space formerly occupied by the old MSC Gift Shop. It was decided that any food ser vices provided in the University Center complex would be handled by the Food Services department. Private caterers will not be allowed to provide meals for gatherings in the center. The board also voted to recom mend that reduced rates be given the A&M Bowling Team at the Uni versity Center lanes. “The team has to practice some where,” one board member said, adding that team members spend a great deal of money on lane rental. Group fees for University Center space was a topic of unresolved dis cussion. New fee schedules were presented to the board, but no ac tion was taken pending further study. The fees pertain only to groups not directly connected with the university. The board decided that individu als cannot sell items for personal gain on University Center property. Organizations sponsoring sales for fund-raising purposes will not be re stricted by the action. In other action, the board voted to ask the interior designer for the University Center complex to find a suitable location to display the photos and citations of the six Medal of Honor recipients who were former A&M students. “It is appropriate that they be put where the students and the general public can see them,” said Buck Weirus, executive director of the Association of Former Students and member of the University Center Board. 4* j'Am )US0A ' - (CHOICE tiT'LijJL ROUND U.S.D.A.
