Navy pilot a lady BATTALION CLASSIFIED Lt. Judy Neuffer says it was all in a day’s work. But that day’s work made her the first female pilot in the Navy’s history to fly into the eye of a hurricane. “She flew like the veteran pilot that she is,” said Cmdr. Dick Sirch who was with Lt.
