Now held by the Fish Drill Team, the title will be decided among four teams. The compe tition sanctioned by the Adjutant General’s Office of Texas begins at 10 a.m. Precision phase marching starts at 12:30 p.m. Awards will be presented by Maj. James Starr of the AG office at about 2 p.m. The meet will take place on the Memorial Student Center drill field. The title and a rotating master trophy will be in the sights of Texas A&I, TAMU’s Fish Drill Team, Tarleton State University and University of Texas-Austin teams. The University of Hous ton recently cancelled. Neil Simon’s “Prisoner of Sec ond Avenue,” a humorous look at New York’s cliff dwellers, plays here twice Sunday. The Broadway hit in the vein of “Barefoot in the Park” and “The Odd Couple” will feature Imogene Coca and King Donovan in 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. perform ances at the Rudder Center Audi- Humorous play torium. The story of the play deals with the vicissitudes of urban life and laughter behind the tears of frustration and helplessness. Miss Coca plays the co-starring role of Edna Edison, opposite her real life husband. King Donovan portrays Mel Edison, the so-called “Prisoner” in the play. Mexican music The voices and guitars of Mex ico will ring in the Bryan Civic Auditorium March 23 as the Es- tudiantina de la Universidad de Guanajuato brings the heart of Mexico to Bryan through music. “La Estudiantina,” an inter nationally known group of stu dent troubadors enrolled at the University of Guanajuato in Mex ico, will perform their repertoire of traditional Mexican music, in cluding folk and romantic bal lads. The group is recognized as the best of its kind in Mexico. The student group features 25 voices backed by 20 guitars. The 25 men will stay in private homes in the community while they are here, getting a return taste of Bryan-College Station life. Admission costs $2 for adults and $1 for high school students and children. Tickets may be purchased at the door before the 8 p.m. concert, or may be picked up at the Foreign Student Office in the YMCA. The week’s activities will deal with the cultural, social and po litical aspects of today’s Afrika and how it relates to American blacks. Black Experience IV will begin with an introductory program Monday at 8:00 p.m. in Room 601 of the Rudder Tower. Along with presentations by members of the BAG and the Afrikan Student Association, two short films will be shown. The first film, “You Hide Me,” is an historical analy sis of colonialism’s policy of cul tural aggression in Afrika. The second film, “Behind the Lines,” takes a close look at the libera tion movement. On Tuesday, Harriet L. Mur phy, associate professor of gov ernment at Huston-Tilloston Col lege, will speak at 12:15 p.m. in Room 701 of the Rudder Tower. She will speak On the political situation in South Afrika and show slides of South Afrika. At 8:30 p.m. Sudan Arts will pre sent “The Voyage from Africa to America Through Skit,” Poetry and Song.” The premiere showing of “Searching for Whales” will be in Room 228 of the Texas A&M Chemistry building at 7:30 p.m. tonight. Legett Hall residents have pro duced “Oh! What a Lovely Bunch,” a 40 minute western in volving a train robbery and old- fashioned shoot out in 1970.
