The local club was beaten out by Tyler for the statewide award. Each of the 16 received a cer tificate of recognition at the Col lege of Engineerings cooperative program. Murder Charges Charges have been filed in the shooting death of TAMU grad uate James A. Hluchanek of Weimar in Colorado late last month. TAMU officials recently learn- de of the events. Charges of first-degree mur der were filed last week in Weld County, Colo., against Jerry Ben Ulmer, 21, of Garland. Hluchanek, 24, was on special geophysical work at Casper, Wyo., at the time of his death. Reports indicate no apparent motive for the shooting. Hluch anek was said to have been shot eight times.
