The “sidewalk cafe” snack bar in the old MSC lobby will be re located Monday in the new por tion of the student center. It will serve on weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Service will be available to the general public, as well as to fac ulty, staff and students, at both new locations, university officials noted. Additionally, Food Service Di rector Fred Dollar said Peniston Cafeteria in Sbisa Hall will be open daily from 7 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Beginning June 4, Peniston will serve from 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and Sundays. Moore Chaplain HAVE A PROBLEM? NEED TO TALK WITH SOMEONE? CALL CRISIS HELPLINE. SOMEONE DOES CARE. 846-7727 why does a man join Maryknoll? There are probably as many answers as there are individual Maryknoll priests and Brothers. Some men are deeply moved when they hear of babies dying in their mother's arms because of hunger or disease. Others are distressed by the growing antag onism and separation between the rich and the poor nations. More are concerned about the great injustices that have been inflicted upon the poor by those who possess wealth and power to an excessive degree. Others look to learn from peoples who have grown up with a different mentality than that which is theirs. All feel that the only solution to the crises that threaten to split men asunder is the love of God as shown in the life of His Son, Jesus Christ. This love of God urges men to go forward and be missioners so men can love one another. What could be your reason for joining Maryknoll? In our time, in our world, the old get hidden away and forgotten much too often. In a Connecticut city, The American Red Cross—America’s Good Neighbor—did something about it. There, Red Cross Youth each “adopted a grandparent.” Strictly one to one. The purpose: regular visits—to make life just a little more worth living for older folks. A small matter, you may think—especially if there just don’t happen to be any older people in your neighborhood, or your life. But it represents just what Red Cross is all about. Because The American Red Cross is a home town affair. That’s why you find us doing different things in different hometowns. We’re what you need us to be. Whoever you are. Wherever you are. And isn’t that what a Good Neighbor is all about? Be a good neighbor. Help The Good Neighbor. + The American Red Cross the good neighbor.
