Aggies Sweep Three Weekend Boice Best TennisMatches A&M’s fastly improving tennis team increased its dual match record to 8-3 with weekend de cisions over Stephen F. Austin, LSU and Alabama. The Aggies now face a busy week as Southwest Conference play resumes with TCU visiting the varsity courts today at 1:30 p.m. A&M has a make-up match with St. Edward’s University here on Wednesday and hosts conference co-favorite SMU Fri day. SFA put up little opposition Friday as the Aggies whitewash ed the Lumberjacks 7-0. SFA managed only 21 wins in the 105 game competition. Saturday the Aggies got sweet revenge by topping LSU 6-3. The Tigers had beaten A&M in an exhibition match last fall. The Aggies lost only one singles match to LSU but dropped both doubles contests. A&M’s luck held out as South east Conference favorite Ala bama fell to the Aggies 6-3. Dan Courson and Lawton Park were the only Aggies to win all their matches during the busy weekend. Texas surprised SMU by beat ing the Mustangs in Austin and throwing the conference race into a tight race in the early going.
