The three-day conference will have major speakers on topics related to “Renewal of American ism Through Community Involve ment” plus 30 small group discus sions on a vareity of issues rele vant to today’s public school edu cation. More than 500 county and school superintendents and instructional Scholarship grant donated to Poultry Science Dept. A scholarship grant to A&M has been announced by Dow Chemical U.S.A. and Southern Feed Co., Center, Texas. The grant, designated for the univer- ship program is designed to help and encourage them in their studies. “Companies like Southern Feed Company can he proud of their supervisors are expected. He and special platform guests will be introduced by Dr. Frank Hubert, dean of the College of Education, at the first general assembly. Group leaders from TAMU are Dr. Donald L. Clark, education associate dean for research; Dr. Daniel C. Pfannstiel, Agricultur al Extension Service associate di rector; Dr. James L. Boone, industrial education head; Dr. Arnold Ashbum, educational ad ministration; Dr. O. M. Holt, agricultural education; Dr. Don Seaman, Adult Education direc tor; Dr. Delmar Janke, curriculum and instruction, and Dr. Robert I. Berridge, Community Education Center director. Berridge will also sit on a panel. Resource persons for the groups will include Dr. T. M. Stinnett, educational administration; Dr. Joseph Ilika, Reading Lab direc tor in curriculum and instruction; Dr. Carol Anderson and Dr. Rob ert Reilley, educational psychol ogy; Mrs. Gayle Schmidt, health and physical education; Dr. Rich ard Baldauf, wildlife and fisheries sciences; Dr. Richard E.
