Bulletin Board TONIGHT Laredo Hometown Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. in room 10'8 of the Academic Building to have group pictures taken for the Ag- gieland and discuss plans for the Aggie dance. Range Science Department will sponsor a lecture by Dr. D. N. Hyder of the Crops Research Di vision, ARS Crops Research Lab oratory on “Growth and Devel opment in Range Grasses” at 7:30 p.m. in room 113 of the Plant Sciences Building. Abilene Hometown Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Academic Building. THURSDAY Finance Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. in front of the MSC to have Aggieland pictures taken. Port Arthur Hometown Club will meet at 8 p.m. in the MSC lobby to have pictures taken for The Aggieland. Dress is class A winter (or midnights) or coat and tie. Panhandle Area Hometown Club will meet at 8 p.m. in room 2D of the MSC. Houston Hometown Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. in room 3B of the MSC to collect ticket sales money and have Aggieland pic tures taken. Mid-County Hometown Club will meet at 8 p.m. in the MSC lobby to have pictures taken for The Aggieland. San Angelo-West Texas Home town Club will meet at 7:15 p.m. on the steps of the MSC to have Aggieland pictures taken. Sweet heart applications must be turned in at the meeting. Computer Science Wives Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Bob Anderson, 1114 Sul Ross in Bryan, for the an nual Christmas “Tasting Bee” and caroling party. PhT diplomas and A&M charms will be pre sented to departing members and new officers will be elected. All except departing members are asked to bring samples of their favorite Christmas baked items and recipe for same. Library sets all-night hours for three days The Texas A&M Library will remain open all night three nights during the final examination peri od, Director John B. Smith an nounced. He said the Dec. 15-17 schedule has been arranged on an experi mental basis to benefit students who wish a quiet place in which to study for extended periods. “The 24-hour schedule is planned as an experiment to as sist students preparing for their exams,” Smith said. He indicated minimal library staff will be on duty between midnight and 8 a.m., so normal service will cease at the usual times. Usual library rules concerning smoking and eating in assigned areas will apply at all times, he said. Woolket elected to Masonic post Dr. Joseph J. Woolket, profes sor emeritus, has been elected to head a prestigious Masonic hon orary body. Woolket was elected sovereign, head of the San Jacinto Conclave, Order of the Red Cross of Con stantine. Shaughnessy is a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason and intend- ant-general of the Order of the Red Cross of Constantine for the State of Texas, Southern United Imperial Council of Knights of the Red Cross of Constantine.
