William Cronrath, public rela tions director for the A&M chap ter, said the annual tub pull sponsored by APO chapters from surrounding East Texas colleges in cooperation with the Texas Heart Fund Association. The tub, which began its jour ney today in Houston, is sched uled to arrive in Bryan-College Station around 11 a.m. Saturday after passing through Conroe and Huntsville. Members of the A&M chapter will pull it through area shopping centers and then send it on to Bastrop around 3 p.m. APO members will deliver the tubful of money to Heart Asso ciation officials in Austin Sunday after pulling it through San Mar cos and Austin. Somerset Mau gham’s Contribution to Modern British Fiction” at a graduate lecture here Monday. The lecture, jointly sponsored by the English Department and Contemporary Arts Committee, will be presented at 8 p.m. in the Memorial Student Center As sembly Room. Dr. Costa was personally ac quainted with Maugham and has a thorough knowledge of the not ed author’s fiction, a department spokesman noted.
