The Fish were paced by five double figure shooters as they held off a charge of the taller visitors from Austin. Bill O’Brien, 5-11 guard from Houston Memorial was a David among Goliaths as the Yearlings started four players that 6'7" or taller and the lone short man stood 6' 3", which is five inches taller than O’Brien. O’Brien played his part per fectly as he slew the Yearlings with his shooting and ball handl ing. He popped the net on 8 of 15 field goal tries to score 16 points set up numerous buckets with his passing. Ralph Elliot paced a Yearling surge near the end of the half hitting four straight Texas buckets at one stage and leading the visitors to within three points at the half, 42-39. The Yearlings continued to put the pressure on the Fish but O’Brien put them ahead for keeps with a 20-foot jumper. The Fish built their lead to 70- 61 with 6:34 to play but a pair of steals by Texas guard Mike Dukes set up field goals by B. G. Brosterhous and John Wilson within a space of 14 seconds. Ron Eeten, who scored 13 points in a reserve role, then put the Fish back on the right track with a jumper from the head of the circle. Jeff Overhouse and Wayne Howard paced the Fish in scor ing with 18 each and Bryan Mezger scored 13 tallies. Bob Gobin chipped in six points and Charlie Jenkins added a free throw. Dr. Greenhut to Give Dr. M. L. Greenhut, distin guished professor of economics, will present two lectures Feb. 24 at San Diego State University. Greenhut will discuss “Eco nomic Decision Making Under Risk and Uncertainty” at a pub- Lectures in San Diego lie lecture and present a seminar entitled “A Theory of the Firm in Economic Space” for faculty and graduate students. The seminar topic is derived from a book which Dr. Greenhut will soon have published.
