Aggie Tracksters Picked Fourth
By JOHN PLATZER
A panel of five Southwest Con

while Rollins is expected tp win
the pole vault.
Resley’s best throw to date is
57.4 while teammate Ronny
Lightfoot, who is picked for third,
has a top mark of 56-6%. Ronnie
Mercer of Texas Tech, who has
a top throw of 57-7%, is the sec

The top performance by Rollins

Despite a SWC best of 169-4 in
the discus, Korver is rated num

Holtzman of Rice, who has a
168-5 effort, is the top choice.
Both Aggie relay teams are
picked for third. The 440 team
of Gary Abernathy, Mills, Tom
Cilio and Jack Abbott is rated
behind Rice and Baylor. Rice has
a best time of 40.6 while Baylor’s
is 40.9 and the Aggies’ is 41.1.
THE MILE team of Mills, Steve
Bancroft, Mike Boyd, Willie Rod
