Commander Wright, who earned the Bronze Star for valor, will discuss, “River Patrol in the Mekong Delta,” using color slides to illustrate his 8 p.m. lecture in the MSC Ballroom. Great Issues Chairman Gerald Moore said Commander Wright offers information which will be helpful to A&M students who are likely to serve in Vietnam as well as to people interested in the wel fare of relatives or friends serv ing in the Mekong Delta. “I’m sure the people will see or hear something which will give them a better perspective as to what their husband, brother or cousin is doing in Vietnam,” Wright remarked. The commander is experienced in briefings on the river patrol operations. With other members of his group, he briefed Defense Secretary Robert McNamara dur ing two visits to the area.
