Callaway, a mid-year graduate in agricultural education, served the Collegiate Chapter as president and sentinel, was a member of numerous committees, and par ticipated in leadership schools and judging contests. Callaway will be presented a plaque in recognition of his selec tion at the Collegiate FFA Chap ter’s Student-Prof Banquet April 30... He is a distinguished student and member of the Agricultural Council. ★ ★ ★ A course in “Principles of Super vision,” is scheduled in Dallas Monday through Friday by the Texas Engineering Extension Serv ice, announced W. B. Mansfield, chief of supervisory development. Mansfield said J. W. Hunt, a full-time instructor in supervisory development, will teach the 15- hour course from 7-10 p.m. nightly at the Melrose Hotel. ★ ★ ★ President Earl Rudder has an nounced the renewal of a $500 scholarship for A&M from South ern Pine Lumber Co. for the 1964- 65 school year. Recipient of the scholarship will be announced later by Dr. Chris Groneman, head of the Department of Industrial Education, following a meeting of the faculty scholar ship committee. The scholarship is for an indus trial marketing student. Holder of the 1963-64 scholar ship provided by Southern Pine, a part of Temple Industries, is Rich ard L. Daerr, a junior industrial distribution major from Wort- smith Air Force Base, Mich. ★ ★ ★ Managing personnel from mu nicipal electric systems across Tex as are expected Monday through Wednesday on campus. Approxi mately 50 persons will attend the tenth annual Municipal Electric Short School, A&M Associate Pro fessor John S. Denison said. The program includes topics of interest to power plant superin tendents, operating superintend ents and others.
