Miss Evans reported that the library is a partial depository which means that the Govern ment Printing Office sends out a list of their publications and the Documents Division lets them know which one they are interested in receiving. The Documents Division also receives publications from oth er states. The state publications mostly concern agriculture. Among items in the division are the Warren Report, all publications of Congress, censuses on popula tions, housing and other things, broken down into states and large cities. Also, they receive publications from agencies such as the Atomic Energy Commission. Publications can be found from all major govermental departments from the Agriculture Department to the Treasury Department. The Documents Division is ex panding. It has grown too big for the room it occupies, Miss Evans said, and so new shelves will have to be put up in the second floor lobby. However, in the new library to be built all documents will be in the same room.
