Abbott stated that for a complete study of life the student must: Absorb each event that happens to him. Assimilate each happening as a part of his experience. Assess each experience for its value. Apply this new knowledge to every day life. “Nothing is worse than ‘inert’ knowledge,” concluded Abbott. The next speaker for the “Last Lecture” series will be Dr. H. O. Kunkel, associate director of the Agricultural Experiment Station. This series is held at 6 p.m. each Monday through Nov. 2 in the YMCA Building.
