plementary subject-matter training
at many colleges and universities in
the United States.
The two men will be panel
members for 1964 Summer In

75 were granted in science, math
and technical subjects areas.
In issuing the invitations, the
NSF said the problems “inherent
in the task of choosing wisely
those institutes which are most

agricultural points in Southern
Italy will follow the conference.
He plans to participate in a
special session on “Meat Production
by Dairy Cattle.”
“More than 33 per cent of red
meat consumed in the United States
comes from dairy animals,” Rupel
said. “Dairy scientists have no
small stake in meat production
activities. The proportion is even
greater in European countries,
where dairy and dual-purpose
breeds dominate the cattle pro
duction.”
