“The National Science Graduate
Fellowships,” Hall said, “are of
inestimable value in our drive to
wards excellence in graduate in
struction and research.”
The national competition on a
merit basis for these fellowships
brings distinction to A&M and the
awardees, he added.
THE FOUR students named as
Cooperative Graduate Fellows may
start tenure of their fellowships
between June 1 and early Septem
ber. Their basic stipend is $200
monthly up to 12 months.
The other five fellowships are
designed to allow teaching assist
ants to study full time during the
summer.
