All but Schmalstieg, who calls Sinton his home, list local addresses. “The National Science Graduate Fellowships,” Hall said, “are of inestimable value in our drive to wards excellence in graduate in struction and research.” The national competition on a merit basis for these fellowships brings distinction to A&M and the awardees, he added. THE FOUR students named as Cooperative Graduate Fellows may start tenure of their fellowships between June 1 and early Septem ber. Their basic stipend is $200 monthly up to 12 months. The other five fellowships are designed to allow teaching assist ants to study full time during the summer.
