McGuire said a Former Students Association JETS Scholarship again will be made available. The award is $250 for the freshman year and is renewable.- The stri dent may study engineering or the physical sciences. Displays, Speaker To Highlight ITC The first of more than 600 per sons will arrive Friday on campus for the 15th annual Industrial Teacher Conference. The confer ence continues through Saturday. Leading suppliers of industrial and technical educational materials will have displays in the exhibition hallway of the Mechanical Engi neering Shops Building. Featured speaker for the meet ing will be Dr. T. M. Stinnett of the National Education Associa tion. The Texas Industrial Arts As sociation will meet in conjunction with the conference. Set Saturday At Consolidated A&M Consolidated Junior and Senior High School students will demonstrate their scientific prow ess in a science fair from 10 a.m. —4 p.m. Saturday in the science wing of the school. Students will explain their pro jects to visitors and judges. Three A&M professors, from the Depart ment of Chemistry, Physics and Biology, will judge the entries. All work on the science fair by the students is entirely voluntary, K. C. Morgan, general science and biology teacher at the high school said. The program is planned and coordinated by junior and senior high school science teachers as joint project. The winning project will then compete in ther Greater Houston Science Fair March 15-17 in the Sam Houston Coliseum. The win ner of the Greater Houston Scien««f Fair will receive an all-expense- paid trip to the National Science Fair at Alburquerque, N.
