Bonne, series director. Baldauf is director of the Aggie- land Combo and pianist for the Aggieland Dance Band. Accom panying him on the drums will be Tom Brisk, senior math major and drummer for the Aggieland Dance Band. Baldauf, Department of Wildlife Management, said he would dem onstrate the basic fundamentals of music and the changes in chord structure necessary to make them become what we know as modern swing music. He will use the first half of the program to show how swing came to be, how it brought changes of style to the musical world, the bearing these changes had on to day’s music and the effects on the time that it was in vogue. In the second half, Baldauf will utilize a piano and drum accom paniment to play such favorites as “Tenderly,” “Misty,” “My Fun ny Valentine,” “S’Wonderful,” “Honeysuckle Rose” and others to illustrate his points. Baldauf, who has been interested in the Swing Era for “longer than he cares to remember,” has become an expert on this era. Also, he has become quite adept at giving pi’o- grams describing the era. Showtime Sunday is at 2 :30 p.m. in the MSC Ballroom. Coffee, tea and soft drinks will be served. There is no admission. The Florida "Racing Commission has approved Gulf stream’s 19G2 dates. The meeting runs from March 5 through April 23. !\T!g Tod T’luszewsW of the Los Angeles Angels began the current baseball season with 2C4 home runs.
