THE BATTALION Friday, November 4, 1960 College Station, Texas Page 3 WEEKEND, ALSO Churches Reveal Week’s Schedules The following church activities have been announced for the week: St. Thomas Episcopal Church The Sunday morning services are: Holy Communion at 8:00, Holy Communion and sermon at 9:15, Church School at 9:45, and Holy Communion and sei-mon at 11:00. The Sunday evening services are the Young People’s Service League at 6:00 and Evening Prayer at 7:00. During the week there is Eve ning Prayer at 5:80 each day. On Monday at 7:00 p.m. the Boy Scouts will hold their meeting. The Adult Inquirers class will meet at 8:00 p.m. On Wednesday there will be Holy Communion at 6:30 followed by breakfast. Also there will be Holy Communion at 10:00 TESSIE COEDS INVADE YELL PRACTICE Petroleum Course In Progress Here For Two Weeks The latest methods of evaluating performances of petroleum reser voirs are being studied here at the third Advanced Petroleum Reser voir Engineering Course. Representatives of some 15 major and independent oil com panies comprise the student body. The representatives are from Venezuela, California, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Texas. The information gained at the course may be used as a basis for selecting field operating proced ures to achieve optimum recovery, Prof. R. L.. Whiting, head of the Department of Petroleum Engi neering, said today. The course will last for two weeks on Wednesday morning. At 7:15 will be the service of Evening Prayer followed by the Canterbury program. The Adult Bible Class will meet at 8:00 on Wednesday evening. On Thursday there will be a Tamalada from 5:30 to 8:00 and the Senior Choir will practice at 7:30. The Junior Choir will practice at 3:45 on Friday after noon. At 5:30 p.m. on Saturday there will be a YPSL hayride. A&M Methodist Church Services for Sunday morning are Church School at 9:45 and Morning Worship at 10:55. Eve ning Worship will be at 7:00 and will be a Communion Service. A&M Church of Christ The Sunday services are Bible School at 9:45, Worship Service at 10:45, the young people’s classes at 6:15, the Aggie Class at 6:30, and the Worship Service at 7:15. At 9:30 on Tuesday morning the Ladies’ Bible Class will meet and at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday there will be a mid-week Service. Bethel Lutheran Church The Sunday morning worship services are at 8:15 and 10:45 with Holy Communion. On Sunday night at 7:30 the Walther League will meet at the Parish Hall. The Junior Confirma tion Class will meet at 8:30 on Saturday morning. On Wednesday there will be vespers with Holy Communion. A&M Christian Church On Sunday morning there will be Church School at 9:45 and the service of Morning Worship at 10:50. The Children’s Choir will prac tice on Monday at 3:30.
