Three Students Doing Research On Anatomy Research is proving to be a full time job for three A&M summer students participating in a special program sponsored by the Nation al Science Foundation. The students are John Brooks of Bagwell, Ernest Tanzer of Col lege Station and Joe Toole of Longview. Working under the direction of Dr. Richard J. Baldauf, associate professor in the Department of Wildlife Management, the trio is studying the cranial anatomy of a certain tropical frog. Baldauf said the research being carried out by the students is the first of its kind and will serve as an important reference work for future studies of evolution. The National Science Founda tion program is designed to help students build an interest in sci entific research, understand scien tific methods and to employ in vestigative procedures. Baldauf said the program at A&M is one of more than 300 un dergraduate research training projects now in operation at uni versities throughout the nation.
