3PAGE 4 Wednesday, February 4, 1959 Effective September, 1959 College Receives Math Fellowships A&M has been awarded four fel lowships in applied mathematics by the Department of Health, Edu cation and Welfare under the New National Defense Act, Dr. J. B. Page, dean of the College and the Graduate School, announced today. The fellowships, effective Sep tember, 1959, are four of only 160 awarded throughout the United States.
