Adams has been named secretary treasurer of Region 5 of the American Association of University Profes sors Both are faculty members at Texas A. and M College. The four girls were nominated by chapter members two weeks Knife & Fork Club To Meet Thursday The Knife A Fork Club will pre sent Mrs. Paul Whitney, a pioneer in geriatrics, consultant, author and speaker, at Its meeting in the Memorial Student Center, Thurs day at 7 SO p m. Mr*. Whitney, who took under graduate work at Wisconsin and got her Master’s degree at Syra cuse, is an authority on the new science that is helping people to live more happily. Mart inLutlicr Film To Be Shown Here "Martin Luther," the half-mil lion dollar feature film produced by s cast and crew of seven na tions on locations in West Ger many, will be shown tomorrow at the N'ew Interfaith Chapel. The filid, dealing with the 16th century monk who defied exoom- municatioa and the stake in his demand for religious reform, was produced by Louis Je Rochemont Associates. Title role is played by Niall MacGinnis, British actor, wh heads a cast and crew of &00 from the U. S., France, Ireland, England, Scotland, Germany and Austria. Lothar W’olff, PeRochemont vete ran. produced the film on location in towns, castles and churches of West Germany Film was direct ed by Irving Pichel of Hollywood, who played one of the key roles. Script is based on Catholic and Protestant sources and leans heav ily on historic documents for its dialogue. Support of museums in Berlin, Mainx, Weisbaden and Brettan were enlisted for authentic cos tuming and reconstruction of scenes.
