Copeland Talks To ^esleyans J The Rev Kenneth W Copeland, pastor of the Travis Park Meth odist Church in San Antonio, will be the AAM Wesiey Foundation's find epeaker of the year tomitht at 7 Ik pm., Clayton Cates, pro- grmm chairman, said yesterday Rev Copeland, who is to speak on “The Callinr of the Church,” was bom in Bexar. Ark., the son of a Methodist minister, the Rev J W Copeland He began preach ing at the early age of fourteen and had the distinction of preach ing the baccalaureate sermon for hia own high school graduating class at Corsicana Texas. He was educated at Westmin •ter College Tehuarana, Tex ; East Texas State College. Com merre, Tex ; Southern Methodist University. Dallas; and Garrett BibliraJ Institute. Evanatoi, 1)1. A talk regarding the opeiating principles of each type of instru ment will be given by a represen tative of the firm, Hinds said. Prof Replaced By Colleague In Iraq Job Dr Jack A Dabbs ha* re turned to A&M after teach ing for a year and a half at the American language In stitute in Daghdad, Iraq. When fall classes begin Dabbs, who has been on the college staff since 1S50, will resume his duties a* associate professor of modern languages. The Language Institute is spon sored by the U. S. Information Agency to give studtnts of Iraq a better knowledge of English l>e- fore coming to this country to fur ther their education. During the last school year more than 1.0(H) students of Iraq were enrolled in U. S colleges and universities. Succeeding Dr. Dabbs at the Language Institute will be Dr. T F Comfort, also an A&M associate professor of modern languages Comfort is teaching at the Tunis language Institute while awaiting transportation to Baghdad.
