Unpredictable spring weather has
turned the Corps baseball program
into a maze of postponed games,
hurriedly rescheduled contests and
general confusion as the eager but
restricted cadets have been able to
get only a thix-d of the first round
of play under .the wire.
Both the Air Force and Army
leagues have played only five
games in the first two weeks of
the season. March, generally
known as the month of wind, has
literally poured havoc on the pro
gram in the form of almost con
stant rains and cold weather.
And April, the month of RAIN,
looms just around the corner, leav
ing no relief in sight.
In the Air Force, two groups
have dominated play. The 3rd
Group currently leads the league
with three wins, over the 6th, 4th
and 1st groups in that order. Close
on their heels is the 5th Gvoup,
with victories over the 2nd and
6th groups. No other team has en
tered the won column in that cir
cuit.
Over in the Army league, both
