Moon T rip F easible Red Scientist Says MOSCOW CP)—A top Soviet sci entist said yesterday one-way trips to the moon ai’e perfectly feasible right now. Getting back, he said, must await the establishment of manned refueling stations in space unless atomic energy can be used. Scientist Nikolai Varvarov said chemical fuels now available could take a rocket to the moon and that flights to Mars and Venus could be figured out, too. Varvarov is head of the astro- nautical section of the Soviet civil defense organization. He made his statements in an article in Soviet Fleet, the Soviet navy publication. He estimated that, leaving the earth at 25,000 miles an hour, a rocket could get to the moon in 115 hours, just under five days. U. S.
