Billie Hudnall officiating. Saxon died suddenly Saturday at Hall’s Lake while on a deer hunt. Death was attributed to a heart condition. He was a member of the Reliance Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mys. Irene Saxon; one daughter, Mrs. Alfred A. Padbury of College Station; one son, Floy L. Saxon of College Station; four sisters, Mrs. George Jones of Houston, Mrs. Sam B u llock and Mrs. J. J, Riley of Bryan and Mrs. B. L. Risinger of Reliance; three broth ers, Jim Saxon of College Station, Clarence Saxon of Reliance and E. E. Saxon of Bryan. Martin, senior elec trical engineering major from Memphis, Tenn., recently was awarded one of the seven scholar ships given by Dow Corning Cor- poi’ation at Midland, Mich. The scholarship program, now in its seventh year, pays all tui tion costs in addition to a sum for expenses. Administered by the electrical section of the product engineering laboratories at Dow Corning, the scholarship program is intended to stimulate interest in and encour age the study of the dielectric properties of electrical insulating materials. A little pureed cooked spinach added to tartar sauce gives it pretty green color and tastes good with fried or broiled scallops.
