To Eliminate
Empty Seats

ing the College Station-Bryan

eliminate “sold out” flights
taking off with empty seats.
The ruling, the third of a three-
stage program, is aimed at persons
who make reservations, change
travel plans, fail to cancel reser
vations and do not show up at
flight time.
The passenger will be penalized
$3 when he presents his ticket for
refund or uses it for reservation
on another flight, officials indicate.
Air travel card holders will find
the penalty added to the bill.
Under the first two rules, the
passenger is required to pick up his
ticket by a specific time and re
confirm his reservation after an
overnight stop of more than 12
hours.
