A 10-game slate with starting times has been announced by Athletic Director Paul Bryant. The Baylor-A&M game has al ready drawn so much comment that a sellout is expected for Kyle Field and the Rice-Texas game has been switched to that night in or der for more people to catch the Aggie game. Bryant’s Cadets must journey in to the hills of Arkansas, an area where they have had little good fortune in the past and try Rice in the stadium where Loyd Taylor and Jimmy Wright pulled the big gest rally in conference history two years ago. Mehaffey will join the All-Stars in Louisville, Ky., on April 8 and play through seven games with Red Wigglers FOR SALE Ideal for Fishing! The tour is the second such honor to be bestowed upon the Ken Loeffler product at A&M, having played in the Shriner’s East-West charity game in Kansas City. The tour is on an expenses-paid basis. Ag Soccer Team Hosts Tulsa Sat, The A&M Soccer Team plays host to the University of Tulsa Saturday, as the Oklahoma meet the Aggies for the first time, at 2:00 p. m. on the Aggie soccer field, near Anchor Hall. In their only previous game this Spring, A&M defeated Chance- Vought of Dallas 8-0. Last week’s game with Lackland AFB was rained out. Memphis State at Memphis, Tenn., is the first opponent on the eastern road trip and was a finalist in the NIT tourney in Madison Square Garden this past season, losing to Bradley by one point, 84-83. Wake Forest is the second opponent at Winston-Salem, N. C., and it is expected that the Aggies will open a new field house for the Deacons. The Aggies open the season for the University of Rich mond in Richmond, Va. Continuing to engage top flight competition, the Cadet cagers open at 17,000 seating capacity field house with Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio and fol low with Temple University in Philadelphia before returning to Texas and the Southwest Confer ence tourney in Houston on Dec. 26-28. Only other non-conference games on the schedule are with St. Marys U. in San Antonio, opening the season for both clubs, and a Feb ruary engagement with Houston. Texas Tech will be playing as a member of the SWC for the first time and it will be the first time for the Aggies to meet the Red Raiders since 1954 when A&M lost 58-55, in only the second game ever played with the Lubbock school.
