Following the sup per, at 7:15, will be a worship service in the chapel with T. Deal Reese speaking in “My Church and My Business.” Reese, a Houston businessman, is chairman of the layman’s program for the Diocese of Texas. Canterbury Club members will attend both' the supper and the service. This weekend a Canter bury conference for all colleges in the Diocese of Texas will be held in Houston. BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH Sermon topic for the third Len ten service at 7:45 tonight is “The Cross of Christ.” Finance board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. At the regular meeting of the Voters Assembly Sunday night, H. Horn was elected to fill a, vacancy on the finance board, and Henry Lenz, Gilbert Eimann and Hugo Wiese were named assistants to the board. James Lawson was added to the auditing committee. Harris To Lead Team At Local BSU The Rev. S. L. Harris, Baptist student director and Bible teacher at Sam Houston State College, will be chairman for a Baptist Student Union te&m invited to the A&M campus for the purpose of evaluating the BSU program. Completing this team will be the Rev. Jimmy Wray, Baptist student director and Bible teacher at Stephen F. Austin College, and the Rev. Hardy Clemons, Baptist student director at Texas Univer sity. They will arrive this evening and will complete their work by Friday noon. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH Church supper will be served at 6 p.m. At 6:30, choir practice will be held and the officers and teachers and the WMU Youth Auxiliary will meet.
