Paul Schroeder of Au stin will be the griest speaker 10:45 a.m. services Sunday. The Rev. William C. Peterson, pastor, will attend the triennial convention of the Missouri Synod in St. Paul, Minnesota, June 20 to 30 and visit relatives in Illinois and Nebraska. Holy Communion will be observed at services and church school will start at 9:30. Vacation bible school will begin at 8:30 a.m. Mon day and close Friday, June 15. Christian Science Society The rich fruits of understanding the completeness of and perfection of God’s Creation will be empha sized in the lesson-sermon “God the Only Cause and Creator” at 11 a.m. services Sunday, Church School will meet at 9:30. A&M Church of Christ “Having Vacation Bible School” is the sermon topic of Mont Whit son, pastor, at the 10:45 a.m. wor ship service Sunday. Church School begins at 9:45. Young Peo ple’s Class meets at 6:15 p.m. fol lowed by evening worship at 7:15. Vacation Bible School will begin Monday at 9 a.m. with a general assembly. Classes will meet fol lowing for nursery age to adults. Mrs. W. M. Potts will teach the women’s class. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday in the YMCA Chapel. St. Mary’s Catholic Chapel Confessions will be heard from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday and preceding Mass which is said at 7, 8:30 and 10 a.m. Sunday. A&M Christian Church Dr. William C. Jones will replace the Rev. Clarence Ketch, for a 12 to 15 months leave of absence. Rev. Ketch will attend LSU to work on his PhD. Nazarene Young People’s Society will meet at 7 p.m. and evangelistic services will begin at 7:45. Wesley Foundation Organizational and get-acquaint ed meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Monk will meet with the members at this meeting for the last time until the Fall semester. Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Snyder will be spon sors for the summer. Social Whirl AGGIE WIVES BRIDGE CLUB will meet at 7:30 tonight in the Memorial Student Center. Hostes ses will be Virginia Fei*eday and Lucille Prior, for regulars; Elaine Goolsby and Kay Cunningham, in termediates, and Pat Johnston and Jean Haiwey, beginners. Prizes were won last week by Virginia Fereday, high, Clara Dokos, low and Sally Mostellar, door prize, all in the regulars division. Intermediate winners were Beverly Noack, high, Margaret Brown, second high, and Shirley Hamm, low. ★ AGGIE WIVES BOWLING CLUB will meet at 7:30 p. m. Tues day in the Memorial Student Cen ter. There will not be a tourna ment during the summer sessions, according to Nancy McCarty, chair man. Any Aggie wives may bowl with the group, since they will be playing individually and not as teams. An evening of bowling will cost $1 which will include three games and rental of regulation shoes. Leftover white fish in the refrig erator. Mash it with a beaten egg and shape into patties; fry lightly on both sides in butter or margar ine. Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church Church School will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday followed by serv ices and Holy Communion at 10:45. A&M Presbyterian Church There will be one worship serv ice on Sundays for the remainder of the summer, at 8:45 a.m. Church School will meet at 9:45. “Stx*etch- ing Our Faith for Strength” is the sermon. A&M Methodist Church The Rev. Nolan Vance, pastor, will deliver his sermon on “Seeking the Lord” at 10:55 a.m. services Sunday. Holy Communion will be observed. Church School will be gin at 9:45. Faith Evangelical and Reformed Church Raymond F. Buck Jr. will preach the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday. Church School will begin at 9:15 and evening service will begin at 7:30. Baptist Student Center Vespers will be held at 6:15 to morrow night at the BSU with Skipper Connor presiding. Other summer officers are Jimmy Rice, enlistment vice president; Dave Daniel, development vice president; Sam Serianni, secretary and Dennis Stite, program director. First Baptist Church Church School will be held at 9:40 a.m. Sunday followed by wor ship services at 11. Training Union will meet at 7 p.m. with eve ning worship services at 8. Wed nesday, the teacher’s meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. and the prayer meeting at 7:30. College Heights Assembly of God Worship services at 11 a.m. Sun day will follow church school at 9:45. St. Thomas Episcopal Chapel The summer schedule of services will begin Sunday with one wox-- ship service at 9:30 a.m. Holy Communion will be observed at 8 and 9:30 a.m. Following the serv ice will be a period of fellowship and refi-eshment in the Pax-ish Hall. “Is it ever too late?” is the sei'mon topic.
