Adult evening classes. 135t3 Florida Prisoners Riot; 11 Wounded RAIFORD, Fla., —GP)— A pris oner was shot to death and 11 wounded when convicts at the Florida State Prison rioted yester day morning. They used the excuse of com plaints about the f<*od—especially beans every day for lunch. Warden DeWitt Sinclair said last night af ter questioning ringleaders. “Actually that wasn’t the trou ble, the warden said. “There were just a few hotheaded boys who wanted to start something and they had to find some excuse.” The demonstration started among 225 of the 2,539 prisoners. Sin clair said between 20 and 30 were ringleaders and they were locked up in maximum security.
