College Gus Ellis, ’31 Bethel Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod) The regular Wednesday night service will not be held but Maun dy Thursday will be observed with Holy Communion at 7:45 p.m. A Good Friday service will be held at 7:45 p.m. with “The Last Sup per” as the sermon topic. Easter services will be held at 5:45 a.m. at the Skyway Drive In Theater, a sunrise service. “At Sunrise” is the sermon topic for the 10:45 a.m. service. U St. Thomas Episcopal Chapel Holy Communion followed by breakfast was held this morning at 6:30. Maundy Thursday services will be held at 7:30 p.m. It will be an instructed service of Holy Communion in commemoration of the institution of the Last Supper. Good Friday services will be held from noon until 2 p.m. with a serv ice of prayers and meditations on the Last Words of Jesus from the Cross. Easter Sunday services will be Holy Communion at 8 a.m., Choral Holy Communion and Sermon at 11 and Children’s Easter Service at 3 p.m. followed by Easter egg hunt and party. Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church Holy Communion will be held at the Maundy Thursday services at 7:30 p.m. A special meeting of the congregation will be held following services at 8:30. Good Friday ves pers will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. The Seventh Word of our Lord from His Cross, “Father, Into Thy Hands I Commend My Spirit” will be the basis for the meditation. Saturday at 2:30 p.m. the Church School will hold an egg hunting party. There will be one service Sunday at 8 a.m. An Easter Festival serv ice, the sermon topic will be “I Am the Resurrection and The Light.” Church School will follow immediately after the service. The First Easter, a film, will be shown to the Sunday School classes. Christian Science Society Services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday following Sunday School at 9:30. Church of the Nazarene The Junior Society is putting on the Easter Program at 10 a.m. services Sunday followed by Sun day School. Young People’s pro gram with Easter emphasis will be held at 7 p.m. with Mrs. Harold Carlisle in charge. A sunrise seiw- ice for the women of the church will be held at 6:15 a.m. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday in the YMCA Chapel. Faith Evangelical and Reformed Church The Bryan city-wide Good Fri day service will be held at the Faith Church from noon until 3 p.m. Friday. The theme will be “The Seven Last Words From the Cross” with seven ministers from the city speaking on the 4 " Words. At 7:30 p.m. Friday, “We, Too, Stand Beneath the Cross” will be the sermon topic for services. Services Sunday will feature “Search for Life” at 10:30 a.m. with Holy Communion. The Sun day School Easter program will be held at 7:30 p.m. A&M Presbyterian Church An Easter egg hunt will be held McCALL’S Humble Service Station “Where Service Is First” East Gate VI 6-4922 Hy 6 from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday for the Kindergai'ten class at the church. Sunday services will begin at 6:15 a.m. with a sunrise service on the lawn of the pastor’s home. It will be followed by breakfast at 7 a.m. Services at 8:45 and 11 a.m. will feature “It Happened One Day” as the sermon topic. Sunday School will begin at 9:45. A&M Methodist Church A special Holy Communion serv ice will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thurs day commemorating the original Last Supper of our Lord which was also held on Thursday on His last week on Earth. The candlelight service will feature readings from the scripture, special music and readings from the ritual of the church. Sunrise Service will be held at 6 a.m. Sunday followed by youth NTSC Alumni Hold Get-together Forty-one radio stations in 36 Texas cities will broadcast the special North Texas Day program, Saturday with former students and students of North Texas State Col lege holding get-together, elections and meetings throughout the week. Radio Station WTAW will broadcast the special program at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, according to C. C. Doak, who is in charge of NT Day arrangements in College Station and Bryan. Local plans will include a get- together in the studio of WTAW, on the third floor, Systems Ad ministration Building.
