7-0, victory over the Huntsville
Hornets Tuesday on Tiger Field.
The Tigers want a victory to

having lost a tough one to the
Mustang crew Monday, 9-6, when
Madisonville picked up five runs
on only one hit in the sixth.
Edgar Feldman hurled magnifi

Centerfielder Bill Kavanaugh

to first, moved to second when Al
ton Arnold walked and came home
on Bobby Witcher’s clean single.
Catcher Steadman Davis blasted a
long double, scoring Arnold and
Witcher and rode home when Man
uel Garcia stroked a one-base blow.
The Tigers picked up two more
in the fourth when, after Dick
Hickman got on hit by the pitcher,
Feldman singled, Kavanaugh walk
ed, loading the bases, and Carroll
drove Hickman and Feldman home.
Feldman pushed his own cause
in the sixth, opening with a two-
base blow. He scored a minute
later when Jack McNeely singled
cleanly to left, ending the scoring.
Either Bobby Potts or Arnold
will open on the mound for Coach
Edsel Jones’ Tigers today.
