FUSSELL, manager of the MSC Gift Shop, as transactions are completed for ther purchase of the A&M Commemorative Wedgwood Plates from Mr. Downs. Each are en thusiastic over the opening display in the MSC Gift Shop. These beautiful Wedgwood Dinner Plates are 10^4 inches in diameter and made of Ivory Queensware in the incomparable potteries of Josiah Wedgwood and Sons, Ltd., of Etruria, England in the taste and quality of the finest artistic achievements in pottery. The company was founded in 1760 by Josiah Wedgwood, who has been described by outstanding ceramic authorities as "the greatest potter the world has ever known," and who, thru unequalled brilliance and technical progress, set the extremely high quality stan dards maintained for almost two hundred years. Since Mr. Downs started the A&M Commemora tive Plate Association in the middle 1930’s, the plates have received a tremendous reception by Aggies all over the country.
