Ten A&M Students
To Attend Meeting
About 10 A&M students will at
tend the Texas Regional Gamma
Delta Convention of the Missouri
Synod Lutheran Church Feb. 10,
11 and 12 at the Lutheran Student
Center on the University of Texas
campus.
Wayne Leverkuhn, A&M stu
dent, is vice-president of the Texas
region.
Purposes of the convention are
to get Lutheran students of all
Texas colleges together to discuss
the project of sending an agricul
tural missionary to Central Amer
ica.
Employment Rise
Due To Holidays
Non-farm employment in the
College Station-Bryan area increas
ed during early December to an
estimated 12,850 workers — many
of which were temporary workers
for the holiday season. Many were
dropped after the Christmas sea
son, resulting in a slight drop in
employment as of Jan. 1, accoixl-
ing to the local Employment Com
mission.
