Prizes won last week went to Kathy Rowin, high; Kathy Nein- ast, traveling slam and Barbara Styner, low, all in regular divis ion. Intermediate awards went to Sylvia Teague, high and Ann Kinney, low. A AVMAA, American Veterinary Medical Association Student Wives Auxiliary, will hold election of of ficers at 8 tonight in the Memor ial Student Center social room. ★ ANIMAL HUSBANDRY Wives Club will meet at 7:30 tonight in the library of the Animal Hus bandry Building. ★ AGRICULTURE ENGINEER ING Wives Club will meet in the home of Mrs. Fred R. Jones, 201 College View, Bryan at 7:30 p.m. Friday. 'k MECH ANICAL ENG INEERING Wives Club will hold their gradu ation social at the home of Mrs. C. W. Crawford, 4200 Maywood Monday evening. Mrs. Crawford is honorary sponsor of the club. ★ INDUSTRIAL EDUCATION Wives Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the home of Lucille Pryor, A-9-Y Colleg'e View. James L. Boone, professor in the Indus trial Education Department will speak to the club. This meeting had previously been , scheduled for last Monday but was postponed to this date. ★ BUSINESS WIVES Club will meet at 8 p.m. Monday in the YM CA for the election of officers. At the Jan. 3 meeting, members heard Mrs. E. L. Angel, give a book re port. ★ ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING Wives Club wil meet at 8 p.m. Monday in the social room of the Memorial Student Center for elec tion of officers. ★ GEOLOGY WIVES Cliib will meet at 8 p. m. Monday in the Geology Building. ★ PETROLEUM ENG INEERING Wives Club will hold an election of officers at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the YMCA. ★ BAND WIVES CLUB will hold a secret pal party at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the south solarium of the YMCA. At this time they will exchange gifts, reveal the identity of their secret pal, and choose new pals. Ten A&M Students To Attend Meeting About 10 A&M students will at tend the Texas Regional Gamma Delta Convention of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church Feb. 10, 11 and 12 at the Lutheran Student Center on the University of Texas campus. Wayne Leverkuhn, A&M stu dent, is vice-president of the Texas region. Purposes of the convention are to get Lutheran students of all Texas colleges together to discuss the project of sending an agricul tural missionary to Central Amer ica. Employment Rise Due To Holidays Non-farm employment in the College Station-Bryan area increas ed during early December to an estimated 12,850 workers — many of which were temporary workers for the holiday season. Many were dropped after the Christmas sea son, resulting in a slight drop in employment as of Jan. 1, accoixl- ing to the local Employment Com mission.
