International Students Get Christmas Party Highlighted by the singing of Christmas carols, 42 international students of A&M were guests of Chancellor and Mrs. Harrington and of the A&M Campus Study Club and AAUW at a Christmas party recently in the Harrington home. Mrs. J. B. Baty accompanied the group in the informal program of music. Latin American students attending treated their hosts to a special performance of Spanish carols and folk songs. Students from more than 15 countries were at the party. Mrs. Bennie Zinn presided at the punch bowl, and cookies and sand wich loaf were served by Mrs. Fred Smith. Mrs. Horace Blank of the AAUW arranged for enter tainment, and Mrs. John Ashton of the Study Club registered guests as they arrived. Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Zinn, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Adams, Mr. and Mrs. J. Gordon Gay, Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Rodney’s father, Roy, picked up the 4-year-old boy at the Univer sity of Illinois Medical Center Sun day. It will be the first time Rod ney has visited his Ferris, Ill., home since last spring when he suffered a brain hemorrhage. Rodney now weighs 29 pounds. He walks but still needs some help. Attendants say his conversation is bright and has been centered on Santa Claus. The Brodie family has planned a big Christmas celebration for Rodney.
