At 10:45 James F. Fowler will preach on the topi: “Are You a Part of the Ailment or the Cure?” The young people’s class will meet at 6:15 p.m., and the even ing service will be at 7:15. A&M Methodist Church “Christian Love” is the subject of the sermon to be given at 10:55 a.m. worship service. Sunday school will be at 9:45. Intermediate and senior MYF will meet at 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. respectively. Christian Science Society The fact that God’s man is en dowed with unquenchable strength and power will be brought out at the service at 11 a.m. Sunday in the Lesson-Sermon entitled “Life ” Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m. Church of the Nazarene At the morming worship sei’vice at 1 a.m. the sermon topic will be “The Midnight Tragedy”; at the evangelistic service at 7:45 p.m., “Hindering the Holy Spirit.” Sunday school will be at 10 a.m., and the Nazarene Young People’s Society will meet at 7 p.m. Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church Wilfred Sager, president of the National Luther League of the American Lutheran Church, will conduct the service Sunday morn ing at 10:45. Burns A graduate of the University of Texas in home economics, Julia Burnsi is the wife of the head of the Physiology and Pharma cology Department in the School of Veterinary Medicine. She has two sons, Curtis, who graduated from A&M in 1952 and is now a first lieutenant in the Air Force, and Jack, who is a junior at S.F.A. High School in Bryan. She is an active member of the Garden Club and is president of the Women of the Church of the A&M Presbyterian Church. Chicken Spaghetti This spaghetti dish is one of my favorite dishes to serve on a ball game day or when I am having a crowd, as it can be prepared the day befoi-e, placed in the refrigerator overnight, and baked just before serving time. Simmer a large hen in water to cover, with two teaspoons salt, one bay leaf, one onion and several outside stalks of celery. When broth 1 * ^ l ^ e rnea t the bone and cut in good size pieces. Strain the Saute one onion chopped in two tablespoons of butter. When soft, a ' a can mushroom soup and stir until smooth. Add one pint to mato juice, one pint chicken broth, V2 teaspoon garlic chopped fine, ' 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, one small can chopped mushrooms and salt to taste. Cook sauce for 10 or 15 minutes as slowly as possible to blend flavors. Add Vz cup stoned and chopped ripe olives. Parboil for seven minutes one or two packages of spaghetti in salt water.. Drain in colander. Grate % lb. American cheese. This should make two large casseroles. Combine in layers of spaghetti, chicken, broth and cheese until dishes are full. Sprinkle top with cheese and dot with whole ripe olives. Bake uncovered for about one hour at 350 degrees. When stored in refrigerator overnight, be sure to cover it tightly. Former Editor To Be Married In Tennessee Harri Baker, former Bat talion editor, will be married July 23 to Miss Carolyn Joy Pierce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Murray Pierce of Memphis, Tenn. Baker is the son of Mr. and Mi’s. T. H. Baker Jr., also of Memphis, and the grandson of Dean and Mrs. E. J. Kyle of Bryan. Miss Pierce is a former resident of Dallas and attended Southern Methodist University for two yeai’s. A member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, she was a reporter for the SMU Campus. A journalism major, Baker grad uated from A&M in June of this year. He was editor of The Bat talion and is a member of Sigma Delta Chi, national honorary jour nalism fraternity and Phi Eta Sig ma, honorary scholastic fraternity. A lieutenant colonel in the Corps of Cadets, he was named a distin guished ROTC student. After his graduation, Baker ac cepted the position of news editor on the Port Neches Chronicle. " The wedding will be held at the Bellevue Baptist Church in Mem phis, Tenn. After their marriage the couple will live in Port Neches.
