All games start at 8 p.m. Tickets are 50 cents for stu dents, $1 general admission and $1.50 for box seats. Hardgrove brings a 7-0 record into the Monday night fracas, and starts his first game since hurting his shoulder last month against Rice at College Station. The Aggies, Southwest con ference champions, play Ari zona, Border conference win ner, in the best-of-three series to decide the District 6 NCAA crown. Arizona Coach frank San- cet has seven pitchers on his staff that have won more than two games this year, but the main load of pitching chores fell on the shoulders of three righthanders. Don Lee, who has an 9-2 won-lost record, Benny Rin con, 8-2 and Carl Thomas, 8-0 will see most of the mound action for the Wildcats in the series. Coach Bell plans to start righthander Jerry Nelson in the second game with Ari zona, and sophomore Dick Mfunday in the third contest, if needed. Arizona rates a slight favor ite in the three-ganle set with the Aggies on the basis of its 37-5 season record. Arizona copped the Border conference title for the 10th straight sea son this year, and ended-up with a 25-4 collegiate record. The Wildcats were heavily favored in the 1951 meeting with the Cadets, but lost 5-4 and 14-2 at Tucson. Pitcher Pat Hubert won both games for the Aggies. A&M’s battling Aggies over took powerful SMU in the fi nal stages of the torrid SWC race by winning its last nine games in a row, and finished with a 13-2 loop record.
