If French or Italian bread is served you can but ter the slices, too; but be sure to have the bread keep its original form because it looks most attrac tive that way. Cut the slices all the way through so guests won’t have to struggle to take a piece while they are holding dinner plates or trays. • ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURAL SUPPLIES • BLUE IJNE PRINTS • BLUE PRINTS • PHOTOSTATS 3COATES INDUSTRIES <NI3 Old Snlpbnr Springs Hoad BRYAN.TEXAS Dr. Carlton R. But not A. Lincoln! t Men still call him ‘‘honest Abe,” and they take courage in his humility. Men honor his devotion to the principles for which he stood; they esteem his love for humanity; they marvel at his capacities for sympathy, understanding and forgiveness. History has known few men whose memory could survive the hatreds of war and find sanc tuary in the hearts of victor and vanquished alike. But Abe Lincoln belongs to all of America. Christian nobility is revered for it self, whether it wore blue or gray. As the character of a man can bind up the wounds of a nation, so the Christian faith which moulded Abe Lincoln can build under God a world of peace and understanding. To that proposition our Churches are dedicated. THI CHURCH FOR ALL . . . ALL FOR THE CHURCH Th* Church l* th* prmaiest fac tor on earth lor the building of character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spirituaf values. Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civilization can survive. There are four sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and sup port the Church. They are: (1) For his own sdke. (2) For his children's sake. (3) For the cake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral and ma terial support Plan to go to church regularly and read your &ible doily.
