A ■Page 2 THE BATTALION Thursday, December 9, 3(954 The Battalion The Editorial Policy of The Battalion Represents the Views of the Student Editors The Battalion, newspaper of the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas and the City of College Station, is published by stu dents four times a week during the regular school year. During the summer terms The Battalion is published twice a week, and during examination and vacation periods, once a week. Days of publication are Tuesday through Friday for the regular school year, Tuesday and Thursday during the summer terms, and Thursday during examination and vacation periods. The Battalion is not published on the Wednesday immediately preceding Easter or Thanksgiving. Subscription rates are $3.50 per semester, $G.()0 per school year, $7.00 per full year, or $1.00 per month. Advertising rates furnished on request. Friday The Foods Group of the A&M Social club will meet at 1:15 p.m. at the A&M Christian, church. Saturday The Geology Wives club will sponsor an annual Christmas dance that will be held in the St. Mary’s Student center, from 8 until 12 p.m. Tickets for the dance are sold by the members at two dollars per couple. Refreshments are to be served.
