I was gradu ated from Calvert High School, later entered Baylor University, and received my law degree from that institution in June 1931. “In 1932 I made the race for prosecuting attorney of Robertson County, was elected, and assumed office January 1st, 1933, and served in such capacity for a per iod of six years. In 1939 I moved to Hearne, and formed a law part nership with the late Judge J. Fel ton Lane who was affectionately known by his host of friends as “the tall sycamore of the Brazos”. I practiced law with Judge Lane until his death in 1942, and there after I practiced alone until my present partner, Bill Palmos, re turned from the Navy in October, 1945, since which date we have been associated together under the firm name of Grace & Palmos. “During the period of my prac tice I have participated in hun dreds of contestated cases, civil and criminal, as prosecuting at torney and defense attorney in criminal cases, and as attorney for the plaintiff and as attorney for the defendant in numerous civil cases. My experience has been varied, as I have been an attor ney in a small town where my cli ents have had many types of prob lems, and I have never attempted to specialize in one field of legal work, but have engaged in all dif ferent types of such work. The records of the District Courts of Brazos, Robertson, Milam and many other counties in Texas will reflect that my work has been of almost every type of legal trial work that a lawyer could be en gaged in. This information is giv en you to show you the wide er- perience I have had, and to advise you that my work has been such that it fully qualifies me for the position of District Judge of Braz os and Robertson Counties.” Wehrmans Cafe HOME COOKED FOODS 1009 West 25th St. BRYAN College l it Softball Chi College View walloped Doi’m 15 sixteen to ten last Thursday night for their sixth straight win and the intramural softball champion ship.
