This will mark the eighth year in which patients at the Center will have been guests of the col lege at one or more of the foot-^ ball games. The gx*oup will sit in specially prepai*ed seats along the 50-yaxd line on the cinder path. They will arrive at 11 a. m. and will be met by P. L. Downs Jr., official greet er for the college. Architects Wives Hear Design Speed The Architectural Wives Society heard Frank D. Lawyer of the architectural department discuss fourth year design last Wednesday night in the YMCA. Influenza Tops Health Report Influenza leads this week’s mor bidity report, both in College Sta tion and in. Brazos County as a whole. The report, released by the Bry- an-Brazos County Health Unit, shows 2G cases of ‘flu’, with 19 iu College Station and seven in Bry an. Stx-ep throat is next with 25 cases, 12 in College Station and 13 in Bryan. Smith Can Pick ’Em; Wins $100 Floyd L. Smith, senioi* Agricul tural Education major who lives in College View won a $100 prize in a contest sponsored weekly by the Houston Post last week. He won the prize by picking the winnex*s of 18 out of 20 major college football games correctly. Two other people also guessed eighteen correctly, but Smith also came closest to picking the scox*es of two tie-breaking games.
