In their opener of the year, the Tigers overan Kossee High School by a very safe score of 52-0, but in their second meeting they went under to a heavier Madisonville powerhouse club, 14-13. ‘T’ve got a lot of sophomores, in fact almost the entire team, and I’m very pleased with their hustle and they do show that they are good men to develop,” said Coach Chafin. “We’ll win games this year and do a lot better than I expected,” he continued, “for every man on this team is a part of the team and each one shows his desire in exeryday practice to win games.” Chafin’s defensive team will be the weakspot but with a minimum of injuries, the Tigers shoulld close the season with a 7 win and 3 loss record. However with more im provement on that weak link, this average should be even better.
